Go through the following commands to install KDE Plasma desktop environment in your Linux.

Update your system at first:

For Ubuntu and Debian based:

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

For Fedora and CentOS:

sudo dnf update

For Arch Linux:

sudo pacman -Syu

Install KDE Plasma

For Ubuntu and Debian based distros:

Run the following command to install KDE Plasma:

sudo apt install kde-plasma-desktop

Choose display manager (if prompted) as you need to select sddm as the default display manager for KDE Plasma. You need to log out of current session and select Plasma session at the login screen.

Choose display manager (if prompted) as you need to select sddm as the default display manager for GNOME Display Manager. You need to log out of current session and select GNOME at the login screen.

3. Cinnamon Desktop Environment

Update your system at first:

For Ubuntu and Debian based:

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

For Fedora and CentOS:

sudo dnf update

For Arch Linux:

sudo pacman -Syu

Install Cinnamon:

For Ubuntu and Debian based distros:

sudo apt install cinnamon-desktop-environment

For Fedora and CentOS:

sudo dnf install cinnamon

For Arch Linux:

sudo pacman -S cinnamon

Choose display manager (if prompted) as you need to select lightdm  as the default display manager for Cinnamon. You need to log out of current session and select Cinnamon at the login screen.
